Privacy
The Daily Canvas is a public canvas of brand tiles. This page explains what we collect and why.
What we collect
- Account: your email, and your name if you give it or sign in with Google or Apple.
- Tiles you claim: brand name, link, line of text, colour and logo. These are shown publicly on the wall.
- Payments: handled by the payment provider you choose at checkout: Razorpay, Cashfree or Dodo Payments. We receive the amount, status and billing country, never your full card details.
- Phone app: a device token so we can send outbid alerts, if you allow notifications.
- Visits: your approximate country (to show prices in your currency) and anonymous, hashed click counts on tiles.
What we don't do
We don't sell your data or show third-party ads that track you.
Services we use
Supabase (database and sign-in), Netlify (hosting), Razorpay, Cashfree and Dodo Payments (payments), GoDaddy (email) and Firebase Cloud Messaging (phone notifications).
Cookies
We only use cookies that keep you signed in and keep the site secure. We don't use advertising or tracking cookies, so there is nothing to opt out of.
Where your data is kept, and for how long
Your data is stored with Supabase and our hosting provider, which may be outside your country. Account data is kept until you delete your account. Payment records are kept for as long as tax law requires, by the payment provider and by us.
Your rights
Wherever you live, you can ask to see, correct or delete your personal data, or withdraw consent. This covers your rights under India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, the EU and UK GDPR, and California's CCPA. We don't sell personal data.
You can delete your account at any time from Your account, which removes your data from The Daily Canvas. For anything else, or to raise a grievance, email contact@thedailycanvas.store. We reply within 30 days.
